My name is Lorna Rennie.  


I became aware of the work of Home-Start Deveron several years ago when the Co-ordinator visited our local Guild Branch to give a talk on what the group was all about.  


Having retired after working as a School Administrator for 30 years, I was thinking of doing something on a voluntary basis and the opportunity arose when I attended the 10th Birthday Lunch at Home-Start Deveron in 2009 where a plea was made for volunteers to join the group.  I offered to help in an administration capacity and was then invited to become a trustee and Treasurer.


Members of the Board and the staff are all very friendly and welcoming and I know that the support given to the families by the volunteers is very much appreciated.
